I have Replaced the Complete Length of the Left and Right Inner/Center/Outer Rocker Panels on one of my AMX's. I also installed the 3 Piece Patch Panels on both Rear Quarter Panels. Lot's of work. IMHO there isn't too much info w/r to installing the patch panels. I was "lucky" to be able to install below the style lines. I was also Lucky to have a 73 Black AMX for Reference with new Solid OEM Quarter Panels for Reference. I took my time and it came out Very Well IMO. Ready for Paint. BTW I also installed the Front Troughs / Gussets and fixed the tops of the Dog Ears (not shown).

Hope the Group finds this Useful - and Fun. The link should work. Just click on a photo once for comments. Take Care. Scott

Thank-you for the kind words. What I wanted to Focus On was the Big Bodied Javelin and JX's. In particular the 3 piece panels that at the moment we ( and our market) are given to work with.  I kept as much OEM Metal as I could. Od cuts w/r to old rust in pictures. You Need an Air Saw
.Taking on full Rockers ...well I hope is now longer a mystery.

Kudo's to the forum member that did a Lime Green Mark Donahue Javelin on the Forum before Me a few years ago. BRAVO.  ( The Moderators can find his Links) and yes, before  I started I did take out the front windshield!!!

Kudus to Scott C. (Ohio AMX ?)Book that came out after my work was done. BRAVO. Outstanding.  Nice Job.

S.
