how do you tighten the mirror so it stays set  the passenger mirror on my Matador is always moving even just driving down the road it moves  any idea's

If it's the little oval mirror, it's probably shot.

I posted somewhere else the solution to the mirror on my gremlin. I cut a rubber grommet and wedged it onto the mirror where the ball goes into the housing. You may have to try different size grommets and trim the width at an angle but doing that worked for me.
