I have a friend with a 66 Ambo with power windows.  One of his motors is DOA.  Galvin's does not have them or a kit to fix them.  Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket replacement for the motor on these lifts that doesn't take an electrical engineering degree to fix?  LOL.  I'm guessing there must be some motors out there from later model cars/brands that would work.  Sorry, i don't have a picture of the lift motor to show.

I have one left out of a Concord wagon, if the same.  IF I get a photo would you know if it would work?

Late model Jeep grand Wagoneers will work if you change the connectors. The originals are American Bosche and are rebuildable if the brush plates are not rusted out. They were coated with a rubber compound that held moisture and caused them to rot. The later Wagoneer ones are not coated. Make sure you save the little rubber clutch connector between the motor and the regulator. There is one on Ebay right now for $255.00 eBay item number:
