Hi guys

Two quick questions

1.  I think the 287 uses a M8 and a 327 uses a M10 (1965)  Is this correct?

2.  Do they use different torque tubes?

Thanks

Transmission and torque tube is the same on both. M8 was used 58-64, M-10 65-66 (might be off a year when they switched). The M-8 and M-10 are virtually the same except that the M-10 uses a TV cable to control internal pressure and kick-down. Torque tubes are the same length and shaft inside, regardless of transmission. Sixes used a different shaft - solid with one U-joint in front.  56-62 V-8s used a single u-joint in front with a two piece shaft (solid in rear/tubular in front), 63-66 used a double Cardan CV joint (two U-joints back to back with a special center piece) and a two piece shaft.
