Hey, I was just wondering if there is a difference between the 68-69 and 70 AMX auto centre consoles. Couldn't find anything in a search and it's hard to tell from pictures. Thanks for any info.

1968 is short no compartment. 1969 has compartment no lock.1970 has lock. The woodgrain is different between 1969 and 1970.

"69 woodgrain runs front to back. '70 woodgrain runs left to right.

I know this is really old but the 70 also uses a pistol grip style shifter handle 68/69 is a spaceship looking knob.
59 American 2dr S/W. 70 390 AMX. 70 232 javelin. Kelvinator fridge ice cold beer storage.
