I was unlucky enough to get a real Pontiac Trans Am box from a 70T/A about 40+ years ago and it had internal stops that made my turning radius much wider. I don't know if a later WS6 box is different from a 70, but it must be if you can get into a narrow parking space without backing up and trying again.

On my 68 AMX I stayed with the stock Eaton pump. I replaced the seals, no leaks now and works ok.

I did the same as Chisam with the White70JavelinSST.

Rebuilt the stock Eaton pump, new seals, been OK so far. I didn't touch the steering box. Still original and leak free so far.
