Put a WC T5 from a 1989 Mustang into my 66 American which had a 3 on the tree from the factory. What speedometer cable is needed?

I make these speedo driven gear adapters to convert a Ford type transmission to use a 7/8"-18 threaded speedometer cable.

You may be able to use the factory cable. It should fit the T5 with no problems, as long as it is long enough.
