If this is a judged "correct" car I would go with sms if this is a daily driver I would google auto trimming supplies and pick up a roll of something close. I reupholstered my front and back seats off one full roll of high quality auto vinyl with enough to spare to do headrests and sail panels. I will admit I had just enough and no extra when I was done. The modern stuff they sell today is better and more resilient than what they had when these cars were new and its gonna be less expensive than nos stuff from sms.

In my case I had to throw away the entire interior including all the batting and seat pads save the door panels and the headliner.

LeBaron Bonney is a good source for seat covers for a driver. They have period looking material, and can make covers with original material if you really want it.
