I have a 74 matador coupe with 3 on the column and thinking of moving it to floor what is involved and are parts available thanks mark

That would be a new enough manual trans that a universal Mr Gasket or Hurst shifter will work.... assuming bucket seats. Might have to modify console if you have one. I'm assuming manual trans since you said "3 on the column". An auto would be the same though, aftermarket shifter will work. Get one for a Chrysler trans, doesn't have to say "AMC".

thanks for the info it is manual I believe a 150t but it is a bench seat will that be a problem thanks mark
