NO OIL CAME OUT OF THE SMALL HOLES....BUT.......LOOKING DOWN THE BIG CENTER HOLE THE FILTER WAS ALMOST EMPTY

I went to the parts store this morning and looked at three Wix filters.
51049 used to be I think the long version of 51258. Obviously no ADV on that one but Wix lists it on their site as of a couple days ago as a replacement for the Purolator L30005 which does have an ADV. 51060 has 8 small holes and a black seal. I use it on my truck and know the ADV works. 51258 is as seen in the picture previously with the 6 holes and the orange seal. Interestingly enough the one in the store looked different from what I used earlier in that the seal looks smoother and maybe with softer rubber. Perhaps it will work but I've been bitten too many times on that P/N to try one again.
