I have a fuel pump leak and looking for rebuild kits or parts. Not having much luck except funding just fuel pump replacement that are not combo pumps.

Would like to do the fix myself but I did read here that I could have it sent out for a rebuild but it was from an old post.

Any ideas info would be appreciated.

( edit ) Well dang!, didn't look 1st, site says does NOT sell Kits for CARTER Pumps... Confused
This web site says they offer Fuel Pump Re-Build Kits or Re-Build Services.
Didn't see their location listed on the web site that I can find anyway.

Thank you for that link,

I guess my next question for would be which combo (dual) pump do I have.

From what I have come across I think it's a "Cater Pump" just not sure yet.

I myself have not had a Vacuum Wiper AMC car so am unaware what brand pump AMC used.
Would imagine someone here will chime in that knows for sure, but my guess would be Carter.

Also they will rebuild one for you. They did mine and it's been good for several years.

I sent my 68 v8 dual action in to these guys. Came back better than new. 11 day turnaround and that was back to here (Canada). Cost $135 + $15 for return shipping for USA. You have to get it there.

Just let them do it. It will come back perfect and have a warranty.

These people are really nice.

Thanks for the thread. I've got a leaking pump as well.

Took way too many woodworking classes in high school. Should have picked up at least one auto mechanic course instead.
