This is the extra set of heads I got with the motor I just bought.


Who would do this to a set of heads😂 they also welded the push rod guide plates together for some reason.
Yes that’s jb weld on the studs. They welded the studs in.

Just heat the JA weld up with a map gas torch and It will burn and crumble, allowing you to remove the studs.

They glued them in due to the area around the hole was broke off or ground down.

Welding the heat crossover would be common for a race engine and welding adjustable guide plate is not that uncommon. You want them to stay in one place. The JB weld is also not all that uncommon. I have a friend that builds intake ports with it and it will last 5-6 years in his race engines. Race engines have all kinds of treats that do not seem correct to most, but they do what it takes to make them work and stay together. Tom

Well I want to sell these heads just need to figure out if they are worth anything or they junk.
