Well to inform people on my car. Used a test light and TSM to trace the wires. It was the relay in the engine compartment. I made a jumper wire, from the dark green w/a trace and a light green wire. Dont like it, but dont have a new or used relay to replace it....

Hah! I was JUST going to post that. I did this solution to my Hornet way back in 2002. Jumped the wires together with a butt-connector and it's been solid ever since. I think I got that idea way back when from a Technical Service Bulletin that would tell dealers to do this to completely bypass the system when it failed. |

Hi I found this post while trying to source out some interlock issues for my 1974 Javelin .. wondering if you could advise here? As of now the Javelin starts in any gear and it appears that someone before me removed the interlock relay that was mounted on fender well in engine bay. I see two wires jumped together near where it was. Im basically just dont want my car to start in gear.. any thoughts?
