   on the edelbrock 2131 intake manifold.  i put it on a 401 with a 4 barrel motorcraft carb and is in a 72 gremlin with orginial v8 crossmember.  measuring from the top of the carb where the air cleaner housing bottom sits on the carb to the electric wiper motor using a straight edge.  the 2131 sits up 1 and 1/4 inches higher than a oem intake manifold. had to wire the hood down.  it also does not have a choke tube provision in it.  so before you get the gasket cement on it, do a fit check to see if it will work on your car and engine.
