Just call it your science project of the month. LOL

Red is a very good example. Instead of that faded somewhat orange color you get from old lenses with bulbs you get a like new rich ruby red color with LEDs.

You have got to love LEDs. They can really grab the attention of the texting idiot behind you and are a great heat reduction on the plastic lenses.

Wow, the New Green LED's are incredible. Very readable now and as bright as I remember them from years ago. They are Non dimmable with our rheostats , but Since my 74 dimmer was disconnected by the previous owners,  I don't care if I dim them. All I need now is a good number for RTE for my CVR. I emailed them but have not gotten a reply. I always prefer talking vendors anyway....

The LEDs I used in my SX4 ARE dimmable - I can still change them with the light switch like I could with regular bulbs. It's a neat blue/white light with "white" LEDs and the factory filters.

Since I aim to swap out my 73 cluster, I may as well do LED in it, too - are those blue LEDs dimmable like the whites I used?

To be honest, I don't know. By the time I put these in I had already bypassed the rheostat to get the cluster brighter. Since they're not overly bright, there was no need to mess with it.
