Anybody tried to buy a headliner for a '65 American station wagon?

You could probably use two SCRambler reproduction headliners as the original was two pieces. Hardtop headliners are about an inch wider than sedan headliners. The repro needs to be trimmed for width so it should be wider than necessary for a wagon. The only problem is cost.

I spoke today to the guy who did my seats. He's coming to see the car and if he can make the backing using my ragged original one all I have to do is supply the headliner material. I want to get it in before the six point cage goes in the car. Thanks for the reply.

I put one together from 6 pieces and several patches before reproductions were available.

I think it it's the cardboard waffle print like later ones and a reproduction is available for Scramblers. Is it something else? Wagons are like sedans but with two headliners. Sedan headliners are an inch narrower than hardtops. It seems to me that two SCRambler headliners should work but will be costly.

I'm going to have my upholstery guy make the waffles. That's what he gets paid for.
