I'm looking at buying a local 71-72 Javelin but it's an auto and I want a 4 speed. I need an education on pedals. What other cars fit/will work if any? Is there a difference between the years? What's the going rate for a set of 4 speed pedals?  I assume 3 speed pedals are the same as 4 speed?  I was looking at this one on e-bay?

Those are the pedals your looking for.

All manual transmisson equipped javelins from 71 to 74 used the same pedal assembly.

The pedal assemblies are interchangeable with some trade offs and minor fixes or adaptations.

It's better to get these pedals.

You'll also need the linkage rods and retainer clips, along with the z bar.

Here's the exploded view of the assembly.

If I were you, I'd forget about using the nylon bushings on the z-bar.

Here's a post that might be helpful to you.

Thanks for the replies!  Is the e-bay auction a fair price? Shipping is a killer.
