my son was scrapping his 74 hornet hatchback  i got the buckets  and they have a zipper to hold the seat covers on  is this factory  ?

Yes, 74 factory bucket seats have a zipper up the center of the back and the bottoms have a plastic long hook that holds the bottom cover on the frame.  All the 74's I have re-covered all had Pentastar Chrysler Logos printed on the inside too.

AMC used this design up to at least 1977, that is the last year Bucket seat car I have parted with them in.  They were in a Matador Coupe, Pacer is definitely different in Bucket Seat....the Matador Coupe buckets are same as 74 Javelin/AMX, except the seating material and bottom seat frame and tracks are unique to Matador Coupe FYI.
