This is what i was trying to make work first, just couldn't get the tire under the Z with the stock frame rails. Was saving the Rebel for for a amc power plant but decided to go for it

Isn't 12" a bit to much rim for a 275 drag radial?

Believe it or not a lot of guys are running 13in wide. Helps spread out the foot print of the tire.

Just under 3,800lbs if I remember correctly. If you could do a different front suspension, lighter bumpers and hood.that will help a lot. I think it's going to be cool once done. Will be different in that class for sure.

Last time on the scales mine came in at 3,770lbs.

Come to think of it, that was with me in it. So 3,600lbs is more like it. Full interior, heater, non a/c car.
Aluminum intake, headers,and scattershield.

Figured I'll loose same weight with the disc brake 9in rear end,coil overs, control freak front end, manual rack and brakes, carbon fiber seat, steering column and the ls... But will gain some with the cage and turbo set up.

Anyone making a fiberglass hood?
