The LED equivalents don't produce much heat at all, not nearly as much as the stock incandescent bulbs, so there's your brighter bulb!! I just replaced all the incandescent 12V lighting bulbs in my camper with LED for that reason. Incandescents eventually melt and/or discolor the plastic lenses. Plus the power savings. The fan for the inverter used to come on every time three or more lights were on (two bulbs per light). Now I can cut nearly all on (had 5 of 9 two bulb fixtures on) and the fan doesn't come on. Will have to try cutting all on and see what happens, though I never have every light on when using the camper...
