wow forty seven years old is kinda out of warranty... (not bad it lasted so long?)
sometimes they look like they have a bad pinion seal when actually it's leaking through the splines under the nut instead... -reinstall yoke using gasket sealer -maybe that'll help (this problem is common to 'other make' units also ~not~ just the AM 7 9/16" rear axle) An AM Jeep 8 7/8" rear axle might swap in... sometimes they pop up on Craigslist... gotta make sure the pumpkin is offset correctly |
