1977 Pacer2 is in need of lower ball joints and all I am finding are shown as rare and priced $125 and up! Whats the deal what is my alternative?

this is increasingly the case for all wear parts especially suspension it seems. new parts haven't been manufactured in 20+ years, except for those that cross reference into other makes/models (like brake parts). not one of the bushings in the pre-64 Americans are made any more, for instance, and the ones available are $50 each (8 needed, two types).
hmm, i see RockAuto doesn't even list the RARE PARTS part. yeah it sucks. |
