The clutch rod is rubbing the inside of my frame rail. The pin holding it to the bellcrank to be exact. I haven't had a chance to get the car up in the air yet, but I wanted to get some insight before I did. Is there a bushing inside the bellcrank that wears out, throwing the alignment of the rod out of wack or something?

There is a nylon bushing in there. If it's that worn the ball end will be toast as well. I found replacements through Chrysler or Quadratec as Jeeps of the 70's used the same setup.

Thanks.  Have you had the same issue with the rubbing point?
