I suspect mine was "moved" due to the ballast resistor that was mounted to run the group 19 coil so I'm not really sure the blower motor ground was in the proper place, or used the correct screw.
So, where did the blower motor for a 70 Jav with AC originally ground, and what sort of screw was used. The groun wire has a rather large lug on the end, so it sure wan't a #12 screw! Looks like it could easily take a 1/4" screw.

Bill,
The blower gets grounded on the top screw on the brake valve right below it on the firewall. I just got two proportioning valves at the junk yard and thats where I found the ground wire for the blower. Both were Javelins. My blower was grounded on the stud that holds the AC resistor but I plan to move it now that I know where it goes.
I just posted a new topic looking for info on how and where the wire harness all gets mounted on the firewall and the inner fenders. I'm close to finishing the harness re-wrap and I got the kit from APD but I'm just not sure exactly what goes where...have any info on that? Pics would be awsome!
