The jack originally had a clamp holding it down, so could be that if it's loose. There are metal plates covering to top shock mounts in the trunk. They are probably good. The lower top mounts are the ones that would be worn out, if any... or maybe the lower mounts on the axle. I've had that happen on my front shocks.
