Can someone tell me the diameter of the fuel line from the fuel pump to the carb. Anything unusual about the fittings. Looking to replace the stock carb with a Edelbrock 1406. This looks to require a new fuel line, as the carb input is on the opposite side of the stock Carter. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just make one out of brake line. I make them all the time. They come in different lenghts with fittings at most parts stores. Or it comes in a roll and get the fittings seperately. The premade lengths are better because the are straight. The roll is curved and a hastle to make straight.

I even made new vacuum lines for wipers this way. Cost under $10 to make all the vacuum wiper lines for the car.
