My Classic came with a set of window deflectors, but the one for the driver's door wont stay put. I see what could be retainer clips under the other three pieces, but definitely hesitate to disturb them lest they fall off as well. Deflectors are nice to be able to leave windows down a bit, would love to run all four. Options for retaining them? Aluminum window frames BTW. Thanks!

I found some of those on a 1965 Ambassador in a yard near me. There was a newer car with some of those by it. I pulled them off and the clips were yhe same. I'll look and see where I put them. I used them to install the ones I got from the 65. They fitvperfect on my 64 4 door Classic
1963 Classic 770 Cross Country
1964 Classic 660 4door
1964 Classic 770 2 door sedan

Mine doesn't have clips that I recall, they just push up between door frame and window weatherstrip. That said, the old original weatherstrip may be too far gone. They used a metal channel with a felt like "tufting" inside. I replaced mine with later model all rubber. Work so much better!! If it's a driver or you're more concerned with function over 100% original (only concours level judges who know the cars would even spot the difference... if even they did!) that's the way to go. One was looser than I liked -- I used a bit of black RTV on the edge near the waetherstrip.
