I seem to remember a post a few years ago relating that the factory that made the Ventilair material burned down and was a complete loss.  According the post, IIRC, unless you can find some NOS material or re-use some existing, you aren't going to get the real stuff from anybody.

Have used Legendary  and also have had Custom work done by a local shop Both were very acceptable and look great.   although as mentioned earlier  the Legendary covers are high quality and installers ( like the local shop that installed ours ) say the product is good to work with.   Honestly the Hog rings  can be quite a trick to use and if you want a super good fit I would recommend having a professional install the covers

Legendary does have a sale once in a while (Veteran's Day and others) - subscribe to their email list and you will get notices. APD and Kennedy have never heard of sales. I bought seat covers and seat foams from Legendary on sale and got an excellent deal. My installer was impressed with the quality.

Forgot to mention of the sales that legendary offers from time to time.   I also think they offer % off to Vets as well.  But only upon request
