This was a response from one of the forum members some time ago.  I wish I had archived the post's URL, but.....  For something more current, kcsamc is the man for the SC/.

FYI - I found a well fitting rear windshield seal for the 69 SC Rambler - provided by Peter Stathes - @ Ifoundit@amcrambler.com - Hicksville, NY.    This is after purchasing two (2) poor fitting gaskets from two of the top AMC vendors.  I am hoping they will stand behind their products and take the poor quality items back for store credit.   I will post their responses.   Peter's gasket is a full 2 inches shorter than the others and fits well.   He shipped promptly and the product is clearly a higher quality.  Just thought others may want the benefit of my experience – JJ

Roger, do you know if the SC gasket is the same for any 69 Rambler?

The SC gasket would be the same for any 64-68 American, or 69 Rambler 2 dr. hardtop rear window.

To the best of my knowledge, the '69 gasket is the same for all '69 two door hardtops.  I thought (already getting myself in trouble by thinking) that some of the earlier years were different due to the attachment of the reveal moldings.  But I have NOT researched this and it may not be correct.

I have done two of them with the gaskets that seem to be too big. They were hard to install but once in, they perform well.
The chrome goes in the rubber, the rubber goes on the glass, and the whole thing goes in the car. If you try to get the chrome in after putting the rubber and glass in the car, it will not work.

IIRC ALL 64 - 69 2dr. HDTP Americans use the same rear gasket.

Thanks for the clarification.  I have a two-door post car so my gasket must be different.  Obviously, I do not have the SC chrome trim.
