Has anyone used a Grant wheel on their Classic?  If so what adapter did you use?

(looks like a Mustang II kit from Grant may work)

(gives the Grant adapter number used for a 63 American... should be same splines as 65 Classic?).
Grant isn't much help. They say that hub is used in several installation kits and get a bit sketchy if you ask much more. Just pick one, you will have to modify the cover or make one anyway, and may have to modify the horn button contacts. That's why Grant is a bit sketchy on details -- that and the sales guy on the phone doesn't know much either... nor does it seem tech support wants to do much more than sell you the proper kit... which they don't have. They don't want you badgering them when something doesn't work right out of the box.

I once had a '64 Classic and now have a '65 American. The spline count and diameter of the steering shafts MAY be the same but the horn blowing mechanism was different on both cars so whatever adapter you get some fabrication may be required. I used a Mustang II adapter on my '65 American and had to add a roll pin so it would cancel the turn signals. I also had to eliminate one of the wires from the double ontact rings or the horn would constantly blow.
