I would say the consensus has not changed. A 6 1/2 inch bell housing housing with correct throw out arm. Standard javelin pedals and linkage or you can update to hydraulic clutch. Change out the bearing carrier with a steel Jeep part. The new Ford version of the wc tranny will require some spacing of the tranny to the bell housing and/or modifications to the hub of the clutch. Ask me how I know this?
I do have one of the correct bell housing for the change over if you are interested.
