Front drum brakes 1964 Rambler Classic 660

Th Ranger rear drums are the right size and bolt pattern, have no idea if they will actually work. Offset might be different. Cheap enough to try, and can be returned if from a local parts store.

You can probably find them from an antique parts place. APD has them.... $129 each. Other AMC specialists should.

Could not find shoes for my 64 American so I have started the scarebird disc brake conversion.

Rockauto has shoes but the scarebird conversion will be better.

Thanks, fairly new to sourcing parts and in Canada but I'll check those places out.

scarebird disc conversion is a straightforward weekend job, all the parts are easy to find, performance is more than you'll need, and it's i think cheaper overall than just buying replacement parts. i've had no downside in two cars with it, over 10 years of driving. Los Angeles freeway driving, 75 MPH to zero in seconds, never a moment's thought about fading etc.
