Because of the dog leg port AMCs tend to be the worst for exhaust leaks.
BUT they are not alone. I skimmed a set of 302 Ford turbo headers a year ago that were warped and had a nasty irregular finish. They leaked badly and were brandy new. What a mother they were to skim, they are made of Monel or Inconel. Anyway, if you have headers look there first. |
