Sorry to hear the news, but more glad to hear you're ok, still full of fight and ready to race.

Saw some Internet pics of 390 AMX that blew it's stock flywheel on a dragstrip not long ago; had big holes in the cowl area just below the windshield and tore up the headers underneath. (no safety bell) -Fortunately driver was not hurt.

Saw that happen at Cordova a few years ago a real mess driver did not get hurt....

Thats why I run billet steel drums in my Torqueflites. Expensive but I like my legs even if my wife doesnt

my friend Ben and I got the rebuilt trany and new Torque converter installed in the Gremlin on Thursday(5/18)....

Firebird Sunday May 21th... first time out with rebuild trans and new Turbo Action Torque Converter...
off the trailer...car ran 11.515/116.9mph...60ft 1.64..DA3500ft..best 60ft Trophy Class final 1.617
pulls hard through the middle and better ET's.....very happy...........

Nice...good converters make a big difference. What gears are you running in the rear?

4.11..MOPAR 8 3/4 with a spool....275/60-15 Hoosier drag radial tires....Gremlin weight about 3050lbs....with me in it.... track el 2700ft...

Did not fair as well at the this past Friday Night Club race....got 2 time trails...1st rd 2 step did not turn on...
and I pushed thru...with a  .603 red light.....YUCK....got it fixed for this coming weekend....
