Hi, I am asking help. I am trying to find a way to recognize original AMC parts. I am going to a swap meet next weekend and it would be a great help to be able to recognize the original part numbers. There will be original parts with numbers.
What would be the best way to find the numbers ? Hannu

I hate to be Captain Obvious here but maybe a parts book? If you bought one of the digital copies and downloaded it to your tablet you'd probably be set.

Here's one source. Before I bought it I would ask if the CD is searchable. If it is, you can simply search for a PN to identify it. If not...it would be more difficult.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bishko-OEM-Repair-Maintenance-Digital-Parts-Book-CD-Amc-All-Models-1967-1972-/282337474435?hash=item41bc9ff783:g:9h4AAOSwB-1Y2U~~&vxp=mtr I have bought from this vendor for nearly 30 years and he is a quality vendor. |

I´m jealous hannu, Jan stash is probably the best europe,
I should look into his autum swap meet, the euromeet in sweden is too close to the homecoming for me. |

Keep in mind that part numbers in the parts book and casting numbers on the part are not the same.
