Even the copies are great for a stock to mild engine. No discernible difference from the actual GM models. You need a Delco or Prestolite gear, the Duraspark (Ford style) gear won't work. Even the Delco V-8 gear works.

I got a eBay special and bought turned the gear over. It was for a Chevy 250. Mine has been in my car since 2009 no issues. I paid lik 50$ for it
