I Use Hedmans on every car....half a dozen or so and always fit and work well with no mods. Shortys are no better than stock manifolds.

Shortys flow better than log manifolds and about the same as the later freeflows. However, the shortys weigh less than the freeflow manifolds and have less installation hassles & no ground clearance or starter issues vs. long tube headers. There are pros & cons.
