Does the type of head gasket material make a difference as far as cracked outer bolts locations on V8 heads? Steel or composition?

It's all about torque sequence and proper torques done. Having e right angle cut does not help either.

no it might have had bad casting in the area i had a head on my amx 290 crack in the valve spring seat area but i use cometic multi layer steal with no issues
