Hey folks. Does anyone know if there are any identifying marks on the converter itself? And how many mounting pads, 3 or 4?

Mine seems to have grown legs and strolled off, so I'm looking for a core to build.

Help in IDing the correct one would be super helpful.

Or, if you have pictures of one from both sides, I'd be appreciative.

Thanks, y'all!

Ernie

Well there are six bolts that hold the flex plate to it. The ring gear I think is 12 3/4" across and part of the converter. I can get you pictures but it might take a day or two.

The V-8 converter is different from the six cylinder. Not sure if the V-8s had the ring gear made onto the converter... sixes did, and used a flat small flex plate.

Hey Wrambler, thanks. From what I can tell, if it is a 327 with automatic, it should be correct... I'm told the 65-66 287 was a different stall...

If it is, name your poison, Sir and I'll get you paid pronto.

Thanks,

Ernie

$40.00 plus shipping.
It's heavy so I'll have to search out a box that will handle it
