Looking for a technique to bring back the black on my grille. it is about 50-60% faded / worn away. I would even prefer to send it to a professional restorer than risk messing it up myself.

We had success doing it ourselves. Strip the remaining paint off, and repaint it using suitable exterior trim paint. Prep work is important - use the correct primer, have the surfaces very clean, and make sure your masking is good.
