I need to know the rearend width flange to flange for a 70 amx mine has a 9inch housing and i want to change to a dana to a factory width thanks in advance.Confused

1968-70 AMX & Javelin are 58" posted and some have measured 58.5”.
71 up AMX & Javelin 61”.
American 56.5
Gremlin/Hornet 58.5
Of note some 68 through 72 AMX & Javelins had 9” Ford rear ends installed from the start if destined for Trans AM or Drag racing. You may want to look at the history of your car before changing out the 9” as it may be an original install, sanctioned by AMC for this purpose.
