Yep you need them for any pre 72 trany, I still have mine installed on a loose crank. I am sure there are some here who have them around in the shop.

Talked with napa today - the person I spoke with, couldn't find listed part number...the pilot bushing
Pilot bushing Not pilot bearing naming conventions love it picked up atm0780701 from NAPA appears as bushing listed as clutch pilot bearing We will see I figured it should have a pilot bushing Edited by badaboom - Jan/22/2017 at 1:43pm |

You could measure the diameter of the BW T10 input shaft, and the ID of the bore in the back of the crankshaft. NAPA or others should list pilot bushings by those dimensions as well as application.

Input shaft pilot is .750, IIRC the bore in the crank should be 1.062.

Most pilot bushings are oilite (porous bronze with impregnated oil), you could try this http://www.atlasbronze.com/C93200_Bronze_Bushing_3_4_IDx1_1_16_ODx1_1_2_L_p/9320bcb121712.htm.
You will have to cut to length but don't get it hot when cutting or the oil will seep out.
