Hey Looking for front shocks for my 1959 Rambler cross county custom 6 cyl., I saw APD has a set but was hoping to buy a set from my local auto parts store. I'm not sure what made these shocks so special? but nobody list them for the front. Thanks

The lower front mount is unique to the Rambler. You probably won't be able to find them locally. Gabriel dealers used to have a special order, but you had to specify which standard ends you wanted on what length shock. The lower end on the Rambler is unique, and they probably don't have it. APD or Kanter has them, as well as other AMC/Rambler specialty dealers.
