My mother bought two new Javelins from Ocean Rambler, a '69 and a '73. I was with her when she bought the '69. This how it looks today. The guy on the bench looks a little depressed that there are no more Ramblers available. EDIT: Google has updated the photo and it appears the property is now occupied by a used car dealer called "PCH Car Company". The property was vacant until recently. Cam Jam, Thanks for your posting. The only time I ever visited an AMC dealer was when I broke the dipstick tube on my 1969 AMX and they fixed it for me. The year was either 1986 or 1987. Years later I learned that this dealer was owned by the Long family. When my mother married Sam priestly who was a former Lincoln Mercury dealer in Car Country Carlsbad. Sam told me he was good friends with Steve Long who was running a used car lot across the street from the old AMC site.
