Great Info coming in.  My Data plate looks like that but the model number of trans is scratched off.  I am going to do a band adjustment as outlined in the Studebaker Manual and see what happens.  This is one odd ball setup.

1967 and later Ford/B-W trans started in 1st.
Per Federal law PRND21.
Just a valve body change.
