there is one, on my axle anyway, at the top. it has a drive pin in it.

i think FARNA or who wrote that is right: they last an easy 100K, and by that time the car is very old, and there's other things to fail and complain about long before an axle needs lubrication...

I'm sure theres a service period for them 
my 2010 Focus has just about 95000 miles and the front wheel bearings are starting to make some noise
my AMX I cleaned and repacked and its good to go
69 AMX 390 4speed go pack
72 Javelin 360 auto(sons)
82 Spirit (wife's 1st car)still not done
