I have the borg warner 3 speed in my 66 amc rambler rebel classic, paired with my 327.

I'm curious where I can get the pan gasket and what you guys would use for RTV to seal it.  Also, what should I use for trans fluid?

Thanks!

If no gasket is available I would use Permatex Right Stuff.

The Right Stuff is the right stuff.

You are gonna get twenty different answers on the type of fluid you should use. I have the same 327/BW combo in my 65 Classic Convertible. I use Type F. No problems so far. G'luck with whatever you do use. Remember to fill the stall converter before you get under the car to do your install . . .

Thanks guys! I'll be dropping in the trans and engine together, so I'll fill the converter prior to putting it in either way.  Any thoughts as to how many quarts I need offhand? I think it's like 7-8, but I don't have access to my TSM right now.

I believe it uses the same gasket as a model 11 0r 12, they use the same gasket as a ford FMX

I've run Dexron III for years. Type F works, so does Dexron III or the newer Dexrons. Your choice.

I grabbed some Dexron III and some Permatex Right Stuff.  I also found a gasket on ebay that I snagged with a new filter and some o-rings.  So I'll throw those in next week.
