Purchased the Keith Black Pistons with rings for my 390 to replace the stock ones,(Two pistons, #3 and #5 had broken ring lands). They are Hypereutectic, 390 alloy. The finish on these pistons is awesome.

Maybe this is unreasonable fear and unwarranted concern but I've always steered away from the hyperutectics due to their inability to tolerate detonation. It will be interesting to hear what your experience is.
