I used the factory 8.8 lines (disc brakes) on the rear. I was able to shorten the line by 3" and re-flare. Since the soft line to the frame on the 8.8 is on the left, and the rambler is on the right, I moved and re-welded the bracket, then coupled an extra piece of hard line over to the left. You can get inverted flare couplers, don't use compression fittings.
I also used a Wilwood master. I had to get the correct reducer fittings for the factory brake lines from Summit, they were about $5 each. The ones that came with the master were the wrong size. Bob tufcj Edited by tufcj - Aug/02/2016 at 9:32pm |
