need axle info and has anyone seen this??

   My guess would be that somehow there was not enough end play for the axle shafts. However from the end of the piece that broke off it looks like some evidence of compression around the outside and not in the middle as could be expected from the spacer that separates the two shafts. The bent shaft and outer race wear might also indicate something similar that there was not enough end float. I always thought that .004" to .008" free play was too much but maybe not. Maybe as stuff gets hotter inside parts expand and clearances get less.
